Completing his internship at UCLA, Dr. Shultz began his residency in ophthalmology at the University of California, Irvine where he was also honored as Chief Resident. Finally, Dr. Shultz completed fellowship in Refractive Surgery at the world-renowned Instituto Zaldivar in Argentina as well as a fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery at Miami, Florida under David Tenzel, M.D.

Dr. Shultz regularly conducts clinical studies as well as FDA-regulated investigations on the latest innovations in the field including: PermaVision, Custom Cornea and Wavefront LASIK, Hyperopic LASIK, Multifocal Cataract Surgery, Wavefront Cataract Surgery, Intacs, and the Verisysw Phakic IOL.

Dr. David Shultz has been providing outstanding eye care since 1967. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rochester and his medical Degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Shultz completed his Internship at Kings County Hospital and his Residency in Ophthalmology at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center. He is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. David Shultz is a member of many professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and California Association of Ophthalmology. He has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Jules Stein Eye Institute since 1969.

Dr. Andrew Chang is board certified and has been an ophthalmology specialist since 1990. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Harvard University. He received his medical degree from UCLA, and then completed his Internship at UCLA Medical Center and his ophthalmology Residency at Jules Stein Eye Institute.

Dr. Chang has excelled in his specialty and is a member of such professional organizations as the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute, and he has been an integral part of the education of UCLA ophthalmology resident physicians for more than a dozen years. Dr. Chang is also a distinguished member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society.
